LANES will be closed on Keynsham bypass and other main roads to allow verge cutting, litter picking and gully cleansing.
Between June 3 and 11 June, a rolling programme of maintenance and cleansing works will affect the following:
• A4 Keynsham Bypass
• A4 Bath Road
• A4 Bristol Road
• A4174 Avon Ring Road
• A37 Upper Bristol Road
• A39 Bath Road
Bath & North East Somerset Council says work will also be carried out on several roundabouts, including Hicks Gate, Chelwood and Broadmead.
The work will also include street light maintenance and road sweeping.
The council says all work will be carried out between 9.15am and 4pm to reduce the impact on traffic. Single lanes only will be closed and there will be no weekend work.
However, the council is advising people plan their journeys as lane closures may cause delays.
