TWO men have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into the assault of a teenager in Corston.
On Saturday January 11, police issued an appeal for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy from Bath was assaulted by a group of people near Corston Post Office and village store at about 10.30pm the night before.
The teenager was later found in Broomhill Road, Brislington, Bristol, at about 12.30am on Saturday. He was taken to hospital with injuries which were serious but not life-threatening. He was later discharged.
An investigation into the incident was launched and two men, aged 20 and 26, were arrested on Sunday January 12 on suspicion of kidnapping, false imprisonment and wounding with intent. They were detained in police custody.
