A BODY recovered from the River Avon in Keynsham in January has been identified.
Avon and Somerset Police said she was a 54-year-old woman called Robyn.
She was last seen in Meadows Lane, Bath, on November 28 and was reported missing on December 17.
Her body was found on January 22 after emergency services were called to the scene opposite the Lock Keeper pub on Keynsham Road.
The police said: “Significant work has taken place to identify the individual and to inform their next of kin.
“Her family has been updated, and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this incredibly difficult time.”
Robyn’s death is not believed to be suspicious, and enquiries are being carried out on behalf of the coroner.
