WITH the current season coming to a close, it has been a busy time for Frys Girls JFC as they already set their sights on the 24/25 season.
The club took four coaches and more than 220 parents, players and coaches to Wembley to watch Manchester United beat Spurs 4-0 in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley on May 12, which featured an outstanding goal by Lioness Ella Toone.
The girls were then lucky enough to be joined by Bristol City and Wales international goalkeeper Olivia Clark at a training session on May 16.
The girls and women are anticipating an exciting season in 24/25, with the women’s team looking forward to entering the Gloucestershire county league for the first time, and 16 teams from under-8s to under-16s entering the Bristol girls league.
