AS part of International Women’s Week, Keynsham and Saltford Labour Women’s Branch is holding a women-only public meeting to discuss the safety of women and girls in Keynsham and Saltford with the Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner, Clare Moody.
This event will allow residents to voice their concerns, share experiences, and explore solutions.
The event will take place in The Key Centre, Charlton Road, Keynsham on Monday March 10 at 7pm.
Clare Moody said: “Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of women and girls is a top priority for me, and at the meeting I want to hear from women about their concerns and practical steps they think the police could take to ensure women feel safe within our community.
“I’ll also be sharing insights into current strategies, initiatives, and future plans to improve women’s safety across the area and see what women think about the work the local police are doing.
“Together, we can work towards meaningful change and ensure that women feel safe in all areas of public life.”
