KEYNSHAM Community Hub has been given a much-needed makeover thanks to the generosity of Vinci Construction, the company that developed the Temple Street scheme on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council.
As part of its commitment to supporting local communities and leaving a positive legacy from its projects, Vinci Construction volunteered its time and resources to redecorate the hub.
The venue, which serves as a thriving centre for community activities, groups and events, had not been redecorated for several years and needed refurbishment.
The redecoration has transformed the building’s interior, creating a brighter, more welcoming environment for the many residents and organisations that use the facility each week.
Martin Burton, chair of trustees of Keynsham Community Hub, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the transformation of the hub and extremely grateful to Vinci Construction for its generosity.
“As a charity-run community facility, finding the resources to undertake major maintenance projects can be challenging and the fresh new appearance will make a real difference to everyone who uses the building.
“Vinci Construction’s support demonstrates a genuine commitment to the local community and has helped ensure that the hub remains a welcoming space for residents of all ages.”
