SALTFORD Santa Dash has raised more than £10,000 for two local children’s charities.
The money will be split between Butterflies Haven and Time is Precious.
BBC Radio Bristol’s Joe Sims opened the event on Sunday December 3, which attracted more than 750 participants.
Among those helping on the day were young volunteers from the sports ambassador programme at Wellsway School in Keynsham.
Organisers said: “This event wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of local businesses and the dedication of the incredible volunteers.
“Saltford witnessed more than a fun run; it was a testament to unity and generosity. The Santa Dash not only filled hearts with joy but will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
“Thank you to everyone who participated and filled the streets with a sea of smiling Santas, once again, proving that when the community unites, miracles do happen.”
