POLICE are investigating an incident in which a lamppost was cut down near Keynsham.
The lamppost at a bus stop on the A4 Bath Road, opposite Hicks Gate, outbound towards Keynsham, was damaged at around 10pm on Monday May 4.
Police say the lamppost was left partially blocking the road, posing a danger to road user.
They are appealing to anybody with relevant dashcam or mobile phone footage from around the time of the incident to come forward.
CCTV and house-to-house enquiries were being carried out as part of the investigation.
