Fry Club Women JFC secure promotion

FRY Club Women JFC have secured promotion in just their second season playing 11-a-side football.

The team sealed promotion to Division 3 of the Gloucestershire County Women’s League with an impressive 4-1 home victory over Thornbury on Sunday May 3.

The women finished top of the league after a fantastic campaign, winning 16 of their 18 matches, scoring 82 goals, and keeping seven clean sheets along the way.

The achievement marks a major milestone for the club and highlights the continued growth of girls’ and women’s football at Fry’s. Players and staff have praised the hard work and commitment shown throughout the season, both on and off the pitch.

The club would also like to thank all the coaches, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who have helped make promotion possible this season.
